Our 2026–2027 season auditions will be Saturday and Sunday, August 29 & 30 at St. James Lutheran Church in Lake Forest.

If you’re interested in auditioning for Chicago Brass Band or sitting in on a rehearsal to learn more about us, please contact johnleahy@chicagobrassband.org and include your instrument(s), experience level, and a brief background.

The Chicago Brass Band holds annual auditions for musicians interested in performing with one of America’s premier British-style brass ensembles. Auditions will consist of prepared excerpts from championship-level test pieces. We will send you the required audition excerpts once you reach out to schedule your audition.

Rehearsals are Sundays in Hoffman Estates from 3:00–5:30 pm at The Salvation Army Territorial HQ. 2026–2027 season rehearsals begin in September.
