Guy was also a founding member of the Illinois Brass Band, playing principal cornet for its first seven seasons. He has also been a member of the Lake Forest Symphony, Westminster Chamber Orchestra, Winnetka Chamber Orchestra, the Wilmette Starlight Theatre, and the Highland Park Apple Tree Theatre, as well as the California based groups: San Jose Wind Symphony, Gabrielli Brass, Redwood Symphony Orchestra, and the Master Symphonia and Mission Chamber Orchestras and the Silicon Valley Brass Quintet. He has performed with the Rockford Symphony as well as the Wheaton symhony, as well as with the DeKalb Band, the Fox Valley Concert Band, the Highland Park Sympnonic Winds, and the Glenview Concert Band.
He is currently principal trumpet with the Northbrook Symphony Orchestra, the West Surburban Symphony and Chamber Orchestra, and the Salt Creek Symphonietta. He is also a member of the CBB Players and the Northbrook Brass Quintet, as well as being a freelance perfomer.
He holds Bachelors of Science degrees in Bio-Engineering and Biology and is an electrical engineer at Siemens Building Technologies in Buffalo Grove.
His interests include electronics design, C-band satellite television, photography, audio recording, science fiction, and classical music. Guy is married to fellow CBB cornetist, Laura Shea-Clark. They reside in Northbrook with their two cats, Smokey and Grendel.
She was a member of the Illinois Brass Band for nine seasons, and she served as principal solo cornet for three years. She won the NABBA adult slow melody competition in 2005.
Currently she is a member of CBB Players, Northbrook Symphony, West Suburban Symphony and Chamber Orchestra, Salt Creek Sinfonietta, and Northbrook Brass Quintet.
She has performed with several Symphony Orchestras including Elmhurst, Kishwaukee, Rockford, and Wheaton; and Concert Bands including DeKalb, Wheaton, and Fox Valley. Laura holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Trumpet Performance and a Master of Arts in Library and Information Studies from Northern Illinois University and is Manager of Technical Services at the Evanston Public Library. She and cornetist Guy Clark were married May 2000.
