Allissa grew up in Arlington Heights, IL and began playing trumpet at age 10. She attended Buffalo Grove High School and the University of Illinois, majoring in Instrumental Music Education. At the University of Illinois, Allissa enjoyed her time performing in the Marching Illini, various University Bands, the UI British Brass Band, and the Trumpet Studio Ensemble.

Allissa is currently teaching in 5th-8th grade band, orchestra, and jazz band at Burlington Central Middle School in Burlington, Illinois. She is currently in her second year with the Chicago Brass Band and is very excited for upcoming performances!
